This bedroom is to be found in Charleston house in west Firle,Sussex, England.
It's the house of Vanessa Bell,painter and mother of the Bloomsbury Group.
This room was Vanessa's studio before it became Clive's room. Clive and Vanessa had an open marriage after they had two sons together. They always stayed friends and Clive kept his rooms at Charleston. The beautiful hand printed blue paper was brought home from Italy by Vanessa.
I love every single thing in this room!
It was such a gift for me to paint it and when I stood in that room I felt like I was standing in my painting too!
